A SIGNIFICANT PLACE IN MY COUNTRY BOTSWANA

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK









Chobe National Park, is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers ten thousand five hundred and sixty six square kilometres, it has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region, offers a safari experiece of a lifetime.
The park is located in the northwestern region, next to Chobe river which connects to the biggest birdfoot delta in Africa, the Okavango Delta. Within the Park is the Chobe Savanna Lodge with its own atmosphere, rich and colourful African culture, still upholding its traditions, customs and architecture. The luxurious accommodation is comfortable and inviting, as well the food is excellent. In addition the diverse and interesting activities include private motor boats for water born game viewing, guided walking safaris along the river by professional guides and boat excursions to a nearby traditional village, where one can witness tribal African life.
